It’s been quite a long time since I have uploaded anything on the blog but with the stress of the holidays and battling the flu during the New Year, there wasn’t the time nor energy to invest in the blog. However, this year is going to be different, it’s a new beginning and there will be more frequent posts!
But enough of that, can we please talk about the sweater coat? I refer to it as my “Mink” coat because of the shawl collar and the colour. This vintage over-sized, got-to-be hand-knitted Cowichan style sweater coat caught my eye in the XL section of the store. Lesson to remember, don’t stick to looking for one size especially for vintage items.
Clothing: Vintage knitted coat from Value Village, Aritzia tank top sample, Topshop “Jamie” jeans, H&M Man cardigan
The other great find was these leopard print boots found on an Instagram store called “Yourclosetshops.” There were only $25 and never worn!! There is a whole community of gently second-hand/vintage stores on Instagram with lots of unique items. Another way to shop for reasonable priced vintage!! What are some of your favorite places to go for vintage?
